Hallo,
ich habe einen Epson DX9400F als drucker und Card-Reader in Betrieb. Den Scanner erkennt Sane allerdings nicht. In lsusb sieht das aber so aus:

| Du musst noch media-gfx/iscan installieren damit Sane den Scanner unterstützt. |

Vielen Dank für den Tip.
Jetzt funktioniert es. Den Vorgänger, einen Epson CX6400 hat sane auch ohne media-gfx/iscan erkannt. Daher habe ich automatisch angenommen, dass der neue DX 9400 nicht unterstützt wird, zumal ich irgendwo im Internet den Hiwneis gefunden habe, dass die Multifunktionsgeräte unter Linux nicht voll lauffähig wären.
War wohl ein alter Text, nach emerge media-gfx/iscan läuft das bei mir ohne Probleme.
Übrigens kann der DX9400F keinen Foliendruck. Habe ich leider zu spät bemerkt....
