I got my font paths listed in my XF86Config, but they're not listed in the list of usable fonts in Mozilla.

If they are ttf fonts, you need to have them in the path specified by XftConfig. I usually add them to /opt/ttfonts, which is listed as the user font directory in XftConfig.

It should come enabled by default, but did you enable freetype in /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref/unix.js?
You really shouldn't need a font server. Also, remember to make a fonts.dir and a fonts.scale in the directory you are putting these fonts in.

Which version of mozilla are you using? Do you see any true type fonts in it (verdana, etc.)?

Okay I added the font paths. The fonts in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF show up fine. The fonts in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/font/truetype do not.

I'm sure this is a typo when posting, but you have "font" in the second path rather than fonts.
