Hi Peeps,
Just got myself a PS3 and am looking to install Gentoo on to it.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this keyboard/mouse as it looks like a neat solution. Does it work with the PS3/Gentoo?
Any other recommendations for bluetooth keyboards/mice or do you have to use USB periperhals?
Going to start digging through this thread in the coming days.
Cheers

| That's just a USB keyboard/mouse from the POV of the computer. |

So it will work with the PS3? Have you tried it?
Does the PS3 work with all USB keyboards/mice? What about bluetooth solutions, as it would then leave the USB ports free?

I've no idea about BT kyboards. I know some friends use the Apple one on the PS3, but I haven't tried it.
I used a few USB keyboards on my PS3. Anyhting that presents as standard USB HID device, like this, will be fine. |

Cool, cheers for confirming USB compatability. Haven't found much about bluetooth keyboards yet. Will post details if I find anything. _________________ "Ubuntu" - an African word meaning "Gentoo is too hard for me". |

Currently having trouble getting the keyboard and mouse working under xorg-server-1.5.3-r6. Have it built with hal and input_devices_evdev USE flags...

But on starting X no input from keyboard or mouse (have to ssh in to kill X/gdm).
I was under the impression this verison of xorg detects hardware such as keyboard and mouse via hal/evdev and you don't need to specify any input devices in /etc/X11/xorg.config?
Can anyone advise on this?
(Keyboard works fine on console, and both worked under X on the live CD).
