I have an Abit nf-m2 nview, and yesterday I successfully managed to get S3 working properly. With nvidia etc everything seems to be working fine, however it all starts to go tits up if I leave it sleeping for more than a few minutes.
If it's sleeping for say, 5 mins, it comes back to life as expected. Anything longer than around 10 mins and forget it, it spins up but theres no video and no keyboard response (I can't issue commands, or ctrl-alt-del).
Anyone come across this before? Could it be a PSU problem, because I think my PSU might be on it's way out.

Got a similar problem
`pm-suspend` works for a couple of hours, but anything longer than ~7 hours doesn't bring the display back, although I can still type and issue commands blindly. No clue where to start looking at.
System is a sony notebook, graphicscard is i915.
Edit, make no difference, if the system suspends on ac or on battery. |

I reflashed the bios, as I hadn't updated it since 2007, and it passed the test at 30 minutes.
I'm going to sleep it tonight and see if it lasts until the morning.

Yeah the new bios does seem to have done the trick.
