I want to run WordPerfect 8.1 which requires libc5, which is easy enuf to install on a Redhat box. But how do I get these old libraries onto a gentoo box?
Much obliged . . . |

I personally don't use this, but it seems like lib-compat should do the trick:
Code: |
emerge -s lib-comp
[ Results for search key : lib-comp ]
[ Applications found : 1 ]
* sys-libs/lib-compat
Latest version Available: 1.0-r2
Latest version Installed: 1.0-r2

Thanks!
I ran an emerge search on "libc5" and that did not show up, but that will do the trick. |
