was doing my daily update world, and got this (mjpegtools-1.6.0-r2.ebuild)
------------
/usr/lib/libquicktime.so: undefined reference to `raw1394_errcode_to_errno'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [lavplay] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/mjpegtools-1.6.0-r2/work/mjpegtools-1.6.0/lavtools'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/mjpegtools-1.6.0-r2/work/mjpegtools-1.6.0'
make: *** [all] Error 2
!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully.
!!! Function src_compile, Line -90, Exitcode 2
!!! (no error message)
!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/media-video/mjpegtools/mjpegtools-1.6.0-r2.ebuild .
---------------------
is anyone else having problems with this? solutions on how to fix it?
i'm using a 1.2 install, with all updates prior to this applied. Portage 2.0.11, gcc 2.95.3-r7, etc. _________________ bidz @ efnet |

Hey, I'm also having problems with that ebuild. I also have all of the latest packages, but I'm using gcc 3.1.1. I was thinking it was a problem with my version of gcc, but now I suppose that it must be something else. I wonder how many others are running into this problem.... |

Hrm, well since nobody seems to know why this is happening, I guess we'll just have to wait until the next ebuild of mjpegtools is released. |

Same problem here. If you don't need quicktime4linux support, you might want to compile mjpegtools with the -quicktime USE flag set in /etc/make.conf, that's what I just used as a workaround. |
