Hi all.
First, mods, this post is made here on purpose  .
I've received this mail from one of those Debian servers I manage, which runs apticron, a software update notification -- for those who don't know.

I'm pleased to see a set of patches under Gentoo for PHP were ported to Debian. While this is not the first occurrence of patches across distributions, this makes me feel again happier with Gentoo.
Such a opportunity must be advertised even more to jailed users, captive under proprietary software and operating systems -- the bliss of software patents. Such a good is impossible to even think of, that's what must be said again, again and again. Yet another example's here.
