Switching to GCC4 Hardened

This document leads me to believe it's now possible to transition to Hardened GCC4. The only thing is, I switch profiles and the latest version available is GCC3. I'm also running GLIBC 2.9. Is there any hope for this?

Welcome to unsupported Hardened GCC-4.3 or 4.4 toolchain for Gentoo
How long until hardened and toolchain will produce a hardened gcc4?

Some of the hardened stuff have started to move to portage if you se in the Changelog for GCC.
