Hi I have 3 network cards in my machine from what i can see gentoo is seeing 2 of them so far but only showing me one.

Am i missing something in my kernel ? Pretty sure i have eveything compiled in correct !??!
Also how do i go about even making Gentoo find my third network card its pretty old and i have no idea how to find out what its called.

You need to configure the second one. Chances are you never made an /etc/init.d/net.eth1 entry.
So... "ln -s /etc/init.d/net.lo /etc/init.d/net.eth1", then to start the second card at boot "rc-update /etc/init.d/net.eth1 start"
About the third card; if it's not in lspci I have strong doubts that it is supported. |
