Hi,
I hope this is the correct forum for this question:
* What is the version 9999 of sys-apps/openrc? What does 9999 mean? It doesn't match the other version numbers of that package.
* Which openrc version (9999 (?), 0.2.5 (~amd64), 0.3.0-r1 (~amd64)) Should I use on an "amd64" system?

Have a nice sunday!
Edit:
Yes, I already found the migration guide, but it doesn't mention any version numbers

9999 is the latest version of the package - it's not a single release....more like the freshest sources available |

live ebuilds are using -9999 as you cannot use exact versions if you check out things from a revision control system (svn, hg, git,...). You cannot predict the revision to be in 2 days/weeks...

A. Trouble.
If you're asking that question , avoid it. _________________ Linux, because I'd rather own a free OS than steal one that's not worth paying for.
