Reading Portage settings ..
Building database (/var/cache/eix) ..
[0] "gentoo" /usr/portage/ (cache: metadata)
Reading 50%terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::out_of_range'
what(): basic_string::compare
Aborted
tux1 ~ #
i tried emerge --metadata, re sync etc.,
still i get same error. _________________ reach out a little bit more to catch it (DON'T BELIEVE the veteran part under my user name)

what does that mean?
currently installed eix version is 0.13.1 x86
i will try installing 0.14.1

i did an emerge system today but it picked up 0.13.1 i had some problems doing emerge -Du world.
i dont know why
it has solved the problem
