few days ago my msn account was hijacked. So, I went to microsoft page and changed the password.
I changed accordingly the passwd in kopete and pressed remember password.
Now every time I try to login it fails and asks to enter the password. When I go to my account msn in kopete I see that the passwd is VERY long. ~20 characters. Why kopete changes meanwhile the passwd and how can I solve it.
I tried to check in | Code: | | /.kde/share/apps/kopete |
where the password is saved, but I can't find anything there. |

When you first ask kopete to remember a password it suggests using kwallet for that. If so you should be able to edit the information using kwalletmanager. If you told kopete to deal with it itself, I'm just as clueless as you. |

I don't use kwallet. It works fine with all the other accounts and I never used kwallet. i tried once and it didn't work, so I left kwallet for good |
