|
|
I'm trying out KDE 4.1.2 and am getting the following when launching Konqueror:
Code: |
!!!!!!! ERROR !!!!!!! - KHTML default stylesheet version mismatch. Aborting. Check your installation. File used was: /usr/kde/3.5/share/apps/khtml/css/html4.css. Expected STYLE_VERSION 1
|
Konq then aborts.
I think it's a bug with the ebuilds (I guess that's why they're still hard masked?) but I thought I'd check here before reporting.
BTW: I'm using the kdeprefix use flag so kde's installed into /usr/kde/4.1/...

I've tried running kbuildsyscoca from my KDE 3.5 install and kbuildsyscoca4 from the KDE 4.1 install. Neither of which seems to have helped.
I should also mention that before running kde 4.1 for the first time, I deleted all the .kde* directories for my user account (Just in case the sym-link wasn't updated correctly). |

edit /usr/kde/4.1/bin/startkde, and add this, before the other exports, at the top of the file:
Code: |
export KDEDIRS=${_KDEDIR}:/usr:/usr/local
|
from what I've seen they removed that, because it's not needed when instaling with "-kdeprefix" use flag, i guess it's time for a bugreport _________________ "The only difference between me and a madman is that I am not MAD" (SALVATOR DALI) |

Hmm...my startkde was in /usr/bin. Why is it in a different place?
Anyway, the edit above fixed the problem here too. |

scarabeus (gentoo dev) replied there - could you update your KDE 3.5.9 to 3.5.10 and check whether the problem still exists? It seems to be known problem with mixed kde3/4 sessions. It's already mentioned here. _________________ Maciek |
