I added a second 1000Mb nic replacing my embeded 100Mb job. Originally, it detected both and addressed eth0 as the 100Mb and the 1000Mb as eth1. This seemed to always cause issues, so I disabled my 100Mb Nic in BIOS. However, every time I boot up, it always wants to address the 1000Mb nic as eth1 now. How can I get it to go back to use eth0 as the 1000Mb nic.

Dmesg shows that eth0 is the same mac addr as the 1000Mb nic too.

Code:

hostname ~ # dmesg |grep eth
skge eth0: addr 0E:23:FA:5C:4F:BC
skge eth1: enabling interface
skge eth1: Link is up at 1000 Mbps, full duplex, flow control none
skge eth1: disabling interface
skge eth1: enabling interface
skge eth1: Link is up at 1000 Mbps, full duplex, flow control none
hostname ~ # ifconfig
