Just signed up to the gentoo-users site, so I can confirm for everyone that it is
indeed up and running.
Reminded me of two things, firstly is the fact that I've been using Gentoo
for close to 10 years ... second is the fact that the nearest fellow user
is over 500 kms away and there are a few more 900+ kms from me.
Which reminds me of a third item of interest. In ten years, not only have I
never met another person running Gentoo Linux, I don't remember having
met anyone who has heard of it or knows what it is. Despite that, it works
pretty damn good for me.

Whoa! I eventually registered (http://www.gentoo-users.org/user/Yamakuzure/) and there are three under 30km (same town). What is your user id at g-u.org?
