I followed default install handbock installation.
(http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?style=printable&full=1)
...using the minimal CD and latest stage i686.
after changeroot
the "emerge gentoo-sources" command failed:

I used:
GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://gentoo.inode.at/ http://gd.tuwien.ac.at/opsys/linux/gentoo/ http://mirrors.sec.informatik.tu-darmstadt.de/gentoo/ "
SYNC="rsync://rsync.europe.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"
all other steps berfore this gave me no single error...
what can I do to solve this?

using in /etc/make.conf:
| Code: | | SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" |
and resyncing
works for me.
dont know the resync or change from europe mirror to default one solved it...
