I wonder how the recent CA Supreme Court decision to negate most NDAs effects this kind of thing.

Not at all, because if you talk about iPhone programming in public, Apple will just pull your application from the store.

jobs is a egomaniac, they do stuff like this.
i remember a scene in the movie 'pirates of silicon valley'
jobs walks up to a guy who is working late at night on a macintosh of the time. he takes a few seconds to look at the code the guy is working on. then he reaches for the power switch and turns off the computer the guy was working on. when asked he says he did not like the code. the coder lost a few hours of work.
apple would be a much better company if wazniack was in charge, heck if that was the case i would own a apple product myself. he was a nice guy.

Apple without Jobs is going to be so funny. They're going to fall apart  I don't think that anyone else in that company is even capable of leadership, because of how he controls every aspect of everything.
