PsyBNC Hangs after a while [SOLVED]

It's been a while that i noticed this problem happening and i know that there are other #gentoo users that have/had the same problem with psybnc.

The problem happens after a while and regardless of psybnc having any clients connected it still happens.

PsyBnc simply "hangs/ stalls" and has to be restarted in order to allow any connections.

I have googled abou this issue and only found a couple possible results which seem to be related to memory leak.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with psybnc and have found a solution?
