I'm trying to unmask gmerlin (gavl) and I'm not sure what I'm missing. I get this:

I've put =media-libs/gavl-1.0.0* and =media-libs/gavl-0.2.7* in /etc/portage/package.keywords and I'm still getting this message.
What am I missing?

you're not on ~amd64 - look at the ebuilds.
If you want it ( and know it'll work), throw the ebuild into an overlay and add ~x86 or so.

to fix "missing keyword", do this in package.keywords
category/appname **
