|
|
Hi,
I'm try to install modules into a special path with the --module-prefix genkernel option.
The result for
| Code: |
/usr/bin/genkernel --install --kernname=japtosa-r200 --dmraid --disklabel all --module-prefix=/2.6.24-gentoo-r4-japtosa-v2.0-r200/
|
modules are installed into:
/lib/modules/2.6.24-gentoo-r4-japtosa-v2.0-r200/lib/modules/2.6.24-gentoo-r4/
instead of
/lib/modules/2.6.24-gentoo-r4-japtosa-v2.0-r200/
Is there a way to do this?
And the answer is: YES!
==> just use the CONFIG_LOCALVERSION in kernel .config file. and let --module-prefix to default value.
