mmh i see somebody opened a bug on this...but the bug is unresolved bug report
I just cant install grub, i get craps like boot partition isnt mounted en im sure its mounted checked with "df -h".Here is the snippets of the error:

You may want to try an older version instead (grub-0.97-r4 seems to work well)
... unless you want to try grub2.
ps. I have grub2 from cvs working on several of my machines. I tried this because I could not get the one in portage to work properly. |

thanks....remounting proc seemed to reduce the errors en now im left with just the floppy error...
ill mark it resolved
