well after five years i couldn't help wondering when bitchx would be buried and forgotten. the source doesn't compile with any compilers newer than 3.6.x gcc hehe..

BitchX was great back in the day when you wanted to impress your friends with how 1337 you were by not running mIRC.
Couple that with the fantastic quit messages and you had a recipe for success...
Personally I prefer irssi, but that's just me...

Never used BitchX, but I'm not cool enough to run irssi+screen. _________________ “Truth, like infinity, is to be forever approached but never reached.” --Jean Ayres (1972)

what annoys me is that this bug was out there for a year before it made it to GLSA... i run a shell server (surprise, surprise)... what if someone connected to one of these "malicious IRC servers"??
