My first try to get a faxserver running and i dont know yet what the problem is atm.

I wont go into detail what i tried with hylafax because i think i am missing something to get my hardware running in the first place. So here is what i did to enable the hardware. If i am missing something please give your input.

I have an active ISDN card (AVM B1), for which i enabled the support in the kernel and i already emerged the net-dialup/capi4k-utils package.

I uncommented the following line in /etc/capi.conf
Code:
b1pci           b1.t4           DSS1    -       -       -       -

and emerged the firmware package net-dialup/isdn-firmware.

Now i start the capi service.

Code:
/etc/init.d/capi start
 * Loading CAPI ...  [ ok ]
 * Starting CAPI ...  [ ok ]
 * Available CAPI controllers:
 *   1 b1pci      running  b1pci-e400       B1 3.10-02 0xe400 10 r4

and a capiinfo gives me the following output...

Code:

# capiinfo
Number of Controllers : 1
Controller 1:

Thanks for pointing that out but that doesnt help me at all because i already done them. I hope that somebody can confirm that at least what i have done in my first post is correct and maybe answer my last questions. I will then point out what i tried after that.
