Errores de compilacion Driver Eagle

Buenas a todos, sigo mi batalla intentando instalar el maldito modem usb (CT-350)
Ahora he estado probando con los drivers eagle, pero en cualquier version me da este error al hacer el "make install"

Code:
 make[2] c: command not found.  y  make[2] wich: command not found


Por si sirve de algo, he empezado desde el stage 1, he compilado el kernel con sus respectivos modulos (el 2.4.19 y el 2.4.20)
