Uh... I've had a couple of friends I convinved to switch over to Gentoo, so they went and signed up on these forums. They both got this in their email inboxes. They're WAY over 18 AND they said there was no way to identify their ages on the forum registration. What's going on? And what is "COPPA"? Can this thing be turned off or modified so new users can sign up without this weirdess?

when you register there is a radio button that says "i am 13 or under". they had that selected. choose "i am 13 or over" instead. since they already created the account, have them email forum-mods@gentoo.org and someone will activate their accounts.

The way I pronounced it: "cop'a feel"
IE: "Surreptitiously fondle someone in a sexual manner. For example, The female clerks complained that Mr. Hardy was always trying to cop a feel. This term uses the verb cop in the sense of "get hold of." [Slang; 1930s] "
