Hi,
I just wish to confirm if this is indeed a convention. Packages that are binary and not source are named *-bin, eg. mozilla-firefox-bin is binary and mozilla-firefox is source?
Thanks |

Usually. At least it fits the pattern for all the packages I've seen so far. |

If a source package exists as well then this is the convention. If only a binary version exists the -bin is optional and omitted in most cases. |
