Hi,
does any one of you know how to create emul packages as the gentoo documentation is out of date.
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/emul/index.xml
https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=217704

I just want to install gizmo properly. It just needs two additional libraries and it could be marked ~amd64.

Hi Daniel,

Since your attempt to do things the right way (i.e. using Bugzilla) isn't getting you the answers you need, you would be excused from emailing amd64 developers (who make emul* packages) directly with your questions.

What exactly is gizmo, by the way?

You work it manually, it has somewhat better performance, but it's really for the fun of it.
