Bonjour,
Depuis que j'ai passé un serveur en amd64, j'ai l'horloge système qui se dérègle de 1 sec par 10 min environ, à tel point que ntpd n'arrive pas a corriger. Il reste stratum 16. Auriez vous une idée d'ou est ce que ca peut venir ?

| Qu'il y a t'il dans le fichier /etc/adjtime ? Si c'est pas des zero : supprime le. |

Chez moi, je force la synchronisation (NTPD_OPTS="-s") au démarrage : | /etc/conf.d/ntpd: | # /etc/conf.d/ntpd: config file for openntpd's ntpd
NTPD_HOME=/var/empty
# See ntpd(8) man page ... some popular options:
# -s Set the time immediately at startup
NTPD_OPTS="-s"

Moi, je lance ntp-client avant de lancer ntpd ce qui revient au meme il me semble.
J'ai résolu le problème en passant au kernel 2.6.25 (2.6.24 avant) et ca fonctionne...  |

pour reconfigurer l'heure, je fais comme suis :
- régler la zone (si pas fait)
- virer adjusttime
- régler avec "date"
- passer la date système vers la date hardware (hwclock --systohc)
après, faut soit redémarrer la machine, soit redémarrer le service (ce qui peut provoquer des plantages système de certain programme genre .. amarok )

S'il y a une pile pour sauver l'horloge, c'est peut-être elle qui a un coup de mou.

Vous pouvez aussi choisir une "clocksource" différente, si une foire sur votre matériel. C'est une option au boot du noyal.
