OK, I'm at a complete loss.
I have an external (USB) case holding a TSCorp DVD burner. This setup has worked with K3B (and Windows-based burn SW) before, but since I did a re-install of Gentoo, I have problems.
I still can burn DVD's under Windows, or on the command line using growisofs. HALD does detect empty media correctly, and I am asked if I want to start K3B to burn the disk.
But when I have K3B open, the detection cycle starts all over again - and again - and again - and again...
This is only when K3B is open. As I said, using growisofs on the commandline works just fine.
Right now I am at a loss as to where to look for a solution, or even what additional info to give as to track down the trouble source. Does anybody have a hint for me? |
