[solved]/etc/init.d/mysqld is missing

hi i merged dev-db/mysql and later unmerged it. After that I manually removed /etc/init.d/mysqld. After merging mysql again, the /etc/init.d/mysql file is missing... why?

safe_mysqld start file is also missing (from /bin)
