j'ai un problème lors du chargement de modules pcmcia pour utiliser pcmcia-cs comme expliqué dans ce topic :

j'ai bien suivi la démarche mais il semblerait avoir des erreurs lors du chargement du module ds.

Bonjour,

Je n'utilise pas les drivers PCMCIA-CS pour ma carte 3COM, puisqu'elle est supportee par le driver du kernel. mais neanmoins, je crois avoir lu la chose suivante:

Dans config.opts du pcmcia, il doit y avoir quelque part la possibilite de donner a PCIC la valeur de I82365 au lieu de tcic, ceci devrait faire l'affaire. Mais bon, je n'en suis vraiment plus tres sur.

Quels drivers sont utilises ici? les drivers kernel ou ceux de PCMCIA-CS?

finalement j'ai mis le support pcmcia dans le noyau, et ça marche, mais par contre j'ai encore qqs erreurs d'insmod, mais bon... je verrais ça plus tard.

Pas de quoi.

Si tu utilise le module du noyau (donc pas compile en dur), il y a une option sympa: wol_enable=1 qui permet d'endormir la carte lorsque tu clappe ton laptop.

De plus, pour pouvoir retirer la carte et la remettre, j'utilise hotplug et non pas cardmgr. Les modules du noyau (32bit, cardbus) ne sont pas geres par cardmgr mais par hotplug.

P***ain, je me suis fendu d-un super post et voila que le browser me dit invalid session.

Exactement, les cartes de type cardbus ne sont pas traiter par pcmcia-cs (cardmgr) mais plutot passe directement a hotplug. Donc si tu n'a ni besoin des drivers et que la carte est gere par hotplug parce que cardbus tu n'a pas besoin de pcmcia-cs.

Mais si tu l'installe, ca ne gene pas.
