In KDE3 I can disable the use of a wallpaper image and fource the desktop backgound to a single color. I can't find where this is done in KDE4. Anyone have any clues about how to do this?

Here's a way to do it: Open the Desktop configuration dialog, choose the color you want. Select wallpaper as source and open the file /dev/zero, choose Apply or Ok. _________________ KDE |

I now have the kde svn version installed which is currently 4.0.81 (4.1 beta is 4.0.80) and this issue has been fixed. |
