After re-installing xchat i cannot start it because the executable doesnt exist.
everything else is installed.

Code:
# emerge -pv xchat

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R   ] net-irc/xchat-2.8.4-r3  USE="dbus -debug ipv6 libnotify (-mmx) -nls perl python spell ssl tcl -xchatdccserver xchatnogtk" 0 kB

Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB

yet; $ xchat or simply tabbing for x in any terminal, wount get me the the executable.

Any ideas?
