nagios and mysql

i'm a newbie here. i need some help with nagios.this is my first time to use nagios. i have a problem in installing the mysql plug-ins. everyime i installed the check_mysql_perf an error saying configure: error: You need the official plugins to compile this one..i already installed the plugins but still there was an error.
