Okay, so obviously the Gnome Desktop 2 is out, large, and uh.. anti-aliased But how many GTK2 apps are really out there? I'm getting a new machine, and I'd like to keep it as legacy-free as possible. If my daily use programs include, for example:
- Galeon
- Moleskine
- Multi Gnome Terminal
- XMMS
- GKrellM
...can I get by without having GTK 1.4 installed? If not, does anybody active in the GNOME community know about target dates for total migration, or is it on an individual developer basis?[/list] |

firstly: http://www.gnomedesktop.com/article.php?sid=499&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0
Secondly galeon 2 wont be out for a little while, the new gnome terminal has tabbing, dont know what Moleskine is, XMMS and GKrellM are barely gtk so why does it matter _________________ Mark Finlay - Gnome Hacker of Sorts
