Habe heute mein tägliches emerge --sync ausgeführt und wurde im anschluss aufgefordert portage zu updaten, da eine neue version vorhanden sei. also führe ich "emerge -av portage" aus und meine box erzählt mir folgendes:

auch ein "emerge -avuDN world" gibt mir ähnlich verwirrende meldungen:

was ist auf einmal los? warum sind die pakete gemasked und warum kann er das ganze nicht mehr auflösen?

| ok, hab die nachricht meines Profils übersehen. komischerweise ist das profil, was ich damals ausgewählt habe (2008.0 / desktop) nicht mehr vorhanden. also bin ich auf 2007.0 / desktop gewechselt |

Hallo,
ich habe einen Blick in die /usr/portage/profiles/ChangeLog geworfen. Am 1. April wurden die
default-linux/*/dev/2008.0/ entfernt und default/linux/*/2008.0 hinzugefügt.
Ich werde dann jetzt von 2007.0. auf 2008.0 umswitchen 
Edit: man beachte den wechsel von default-linux nach default/linux |
