epatch not found when installing mjpegtools-1.6.0-r7

I now it is keyworded as ~ppc, but when I try to emerge gnome2.2, it fails at mjpegtools:

!!! ERROR: media-video/mjpegtools-1.6.0-r7 failed.

!!! epatch failed

Someone who has any idea how I can install epatch? Or is it just a typo in the ebuild?

Same problems here; I'm on a TiBook 1GHz with ppc and ~ppc active. I'm trying to install k3b and xine, and have to install transcode (which requires mjpegtools) before I can set up k3b.

Find the "inherit" line in the ebuild and add "eutils" to it.

Hi Jessy,

You goto the ebuild file of the package you want to build.
Search for the epatch and as a 2nd command you add the eutils.
(Do not start messing in the /usr/sbin/ebuild.sh file!!!)
