Hey ive just bought a new digital camera.
I was wondering how i would go about getting the images off the camera.
I have emerged a few programs but dont seem to be having any luck trying to launch the programs.
gnustep-libs/camerakit
gnustep-apps/camera
x11-drivers/xf86-input-digitaledge
Im not to sure if these are the programs i need to get it working.
Any suggestions ?? |

gentoo_newguy,
Digital Cameras use usb-storage or ptp (Picture Transport Protocol). Some cameras are switchable.
usb-storage devices will appear like a SCSI disk, provided you have usb-storage and vfat filesystem support for your kernel.
ptp devices need something like gphoto _________________ Regards,
