hi all!
while emergeing one of the following packages
sys-libs/com_err-1.40.6
sys-libs/ss-1.40.6
sys-fs/e2fsprogs-1.40.4
i got a segfault:

can someone confirm this? i tried to reproduce the error by installing each package again on its own but the error does not appear again. everything seems to run ok.
do i have to worry about this message? i never had this happen before.
any help would be appreciated!

thx for your help! you are right i can reproduce it, thought this was a compile error.
but this did not happen the last time i did a revdep-rebuild (it was on 20080313 when i did before). since the i installed these packages according to elgov:
