PostPosted: Thu Mar 13, 2008 5:06 pm    Post subject: kernel upgrade fine, then lost all sound... [SOLVED -kinda] Reply with quote

Recently upgraded kernel (2.6.23-r9). Rebuilt all modules, everything seemed to work fine. All system notifications worked. I tried to open noatun, but got a SIGSEGV crash message. Then opened juK fine, listened to an mp3, and decided to clean system...

Then I ran:

eclean distfiles
eclean packages
revdep-rebuild

and CRASH...

...all sound is dead

I use usr/bin/play as system notification player and jackd as rest.
