Hallo miteinander, 
hat jemand schon den neuen (noch maskierten) ATI-OpenSource-Treiber ausprobiert?
Dieser unterstützt jetzt xrandr-1.2 und das macht mir noch ein wenig Bauchweh, denn ich schaff es nicht, das einigermaßen zu konfigurieren.
Muss ich für die Verwendung in der xorg.conf was verändern?
Wenn ich nämlich den neuen Treiber out-of-the-box starte, lädt er den 1280*1024 Modus, was an sich gar nicht schlimm ist (vllt. ein bisschen klein).
Wenn ich es dann irgendwann schaffe mit krandr und Konsorten in den 1024*768 Modus zu wechseln, habe ich das Problem, dass bei den Programmen, die ich verwende die Schriftgröße etc. klein bleibt.
Woran liegt das und wie kann man das beheben?
Verwendeter WM ist enlightenment-0.16.8.12

laeuft bei mir mit einer ati radeon 9250:

an der xorg.conf have ich keine aenderungen vorgenommen.
hinsichtlich der schriftgroesse: da du krandr erwaehnst, nehme ich
an du verwendest KDE mit enlightenment als wm.
hast du mal mit der DPI option fuer die fonts im kde control center gespielt ? |

konnte in den kde optionen keine dpi größen einstellen, oder habs nicht gefunden.
ich hab jetzt mit
