Did you re-emerge alsa-drivers after updating the kernel? You need to. The emerge of alsa-drivers just looks at /usr/src/linux, which should be linked (check with ls -lh in /usr/src) to the latest kernel. _________________ Carlton Stedman

I couldn't get alsa-drivers to work with 2.6.24 so I switched to the in-kernel ones. |

I forgot to check CONFIG_SND_HDA_CODEC_ANALOG to y. That solved my problem. |
