i cant get wine to use DGA. running with --debugmsg x11drv spits out how init_DGA2 failed incorrect permissions? Am i correct in assuming that we must have access read and write to /dev/mem, or is there something else too? maybe /dev/kmem? i know this is stupid but i changed the permissions of /dev/mem with chmod 666. still wont initiate dga. stuck.

Try chmod 777 /dev/mem |
