im updating a machine ive not used for ~6 months . it fails on thunar , but even when ive removed thunar it still fails . Heres the relevant stuff.

| I'm getting a lot of these "masked by EAPI" errors as well, even through I've updated to the latest portage (2.1.4). |

| Please always provide the exact error message (with context), often errors that seem to be identical to users have completely different causes. |

| Well, after a ton of other updates this weekend (including gentoolkit), I may have gotten beyond these errors. I was running 'revdep-rebuild' during/after 'emerge system', so it was emerging older packages, if that helps. One thing I did was use 'revdep-rebuild -X' to cause updates (though I didn't really want to do that until after 'emerge system' was done). |
