Hola Gente!!,
hace 2 dias aproximadamente hice mi habitual emerge --sync && emerge -avuDN world semanal. En la lista vi que se actualizaria xine-libs.
despues de actualizar una serie de paquetes todo iba bien,
pero ayer intente ver una pelicula con Kaffeine y aparecieron los siquientes mensajes:

Probe con distintas peliculas con subs (distintos formatos, tanto de video como de subtitulo) y con todas tuve el mismo problema. Incluso agregando manualmente los subtitulos obtengo el mismo error
Con peliculas sin sub cero problema y con kplayer las peliculas con sub no dan problemas
Por lo que puedo entender Kaffeine parsea la pelicula y el subtitulo en una sola URL asi: pelicula#subtitulo
me parece que hay problemas de comunicacion entre Kaffeine y el motor XINE.

Hoy hice un sync para ver si habia alguna actualizacion de Kaffeine o Xine-libs, pero nada 
A alguien le ha ocurrido esto??
alguien me puede ayudar...
espero sus respuestas,

PD: hace tiempo que no aparecia por el foro tube que registrarme nuevamente, asi que saludos a todos...

Hubo una actualización del siguiente paquete dev-libs/libcdio y este al terminar de compilar daba el siguiente mensaje:

revdep-rebuild |
Sigue la recomendación y se solucionará.

segun revdep-rebuild, mi sistema esta OK 
bueno, probaré recompilar kaffeine y xine-libs manualmente y les cuento como me fue.

acabo de hacer un --sync y luego recompile a mano kaffeine y xine-libs
y el problema persiste

ya solucione mi problema,
efectivamente era fallo en la comunicacion de Kaffeine con Xine-lib. (bug #155491)
desde la version 1.1.9 de xine-lib cambio la forma de leer la URL del archivo a abrir.
desde el Changelog de xine-lib-1.1.9:

lo solucione asi:
