Just finished fresh install. Everthing pretty good but, don't have an lspci command. Searched drive with "find" as well as searched with emerge to find a package. It would be very nice to have the full compliment of basic commands! Any help would be appreciated.

The package you're looking for is sys-apps/pciutils. _________________ When the whole world's singing your songs, and all of your paintings have been hung, just remember, what was yours is everyone's from now on. |

http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-x86.xml?part=1&chap=7 (for x86, use link for your arch)
Assuming you are following the handbook, and you are about to build your kernel, you can use lspci from outside your chroot or emerge pciutils to use it within chroot. Might be worth reading back over previous chapter to make sure didn't miss any steps. |
