mysql 3.23.51 emerge problems

I receive a duplicated marcro error for AM_PATH_REP and _AM_PATH_GIMPPRINT_CHECK_REGIDTER_DEFAULTS then the ebuild fails with this error:

!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully.
!!! Function src_unpack, Line -5, Exitcode 1
!!! (no error message)

!!! emerge aborting on /usr/portage/dev-db/mysql/mysql-3.23.51.ebuild .

Has anyone else seen this or has a work around I currently have version 3.23.49-r2 installed.

i have found that the "gimp-print-cups" package seems to break the configure part of several ebuilds (somthing to do with the autoconf/automake files it installs)

emerge unmerge gimp-print-cups
emerge mysql
emerge gimp-print-cups

do that and your good to go

BTW please search the forums before posting, the same question was asked/answered only a few posts below this one

(also, you should do an "emerge -u mysql" not "emerge mysql" oops

I tried that it did not work here is the message I received

And yes I did do a search but have not turned up anything that works yet. ( I saw the times I did my search then had a phone call before posting sorry)

hmm, i woudl look into which package installed "/usr/share/aclocal/rep.m4"

i dont have that on my box, try "qpkg -f /usr/share/aclocal/rep.m4"

unmerge that package, then try
