For those of you that keep track of these things, the database on the forums server has now shifted to running off a new donated SCSI hard disk (thanks a zillion, rommel). phpBB itself and the root filesystem is still on IDE, and that will probably be moving around on Monday. We are also back to using InnoDB. Please report performance problems here. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

all I can say so far is that the shift was rather painless. a few hicups at some points (those dates reset to 1970, yay baby !!) but no show stoppers.
