Hi!!
I'm having some problem with my package.use file.
I've used it for a while then it stop working.
I have actualy no idea what to do and where to look (new to linux  )
here's my package.use file:

media-libs/imlib2-1.4.0 gif jpeg png
media-sound/alsa-driver cmipci
media-sound/aumix gtk

here's the result of "emerge -pv media-libs/imlib2"

The gif, jpeg and png USE are not used.
Can someone give me a hint where to look?

You should add an = to specify a version for the package. |

Well, it doesn't work with the =+version. I'm having the same problem...
Btw, that problem isn't only for the imlib2. It's for all my package.use file. The wierdest thing is .. it worked before. |

I've reemerged portage and it's doing the same thing...
someone have an idea? |

omg solved...
my package.use file was bugged.
The result of cat /etc/portage/package.use was not giving the real result. Maybe a special character in the file (invisible in console)
I juste deleted and created the pacakge.use file and it work again.
Thx Arfrever your cat command just give me a big hint (I was using nano all the time :S) |
