Why does the word veteran appear twice? Once as my rank, and once in the associated rank image? None of the other ranks seem to have this.
Just wondering...

I realise this..., why would we have this as both part of the image and the rank though? Surely it would make sense to remove the rank from the image so it's only displayed once like all ranks upto and including l33t.

I suspect that when the rank images were added, they (the forum mods) just used the default images and did not edit them to remove the titles. I guess someone could use Gimp or Photoshop or <insert photo editing software> and remove them.
But if we are modifying the rank images, why not Gentoo them a little? |

Ah. I hadn't realised these ranks would have premade images. I thought they were kind of specific to the gentoo forums.

LOL! I lack Gimp/PhotoShop-fu. I have slaves ^H^H^H^H^H^H friends for that.
Perhaps little Gentoo g's rather than square blocks?? Any forum mods reading this and interested? Perhaps we could have a design contest. |

They are specific to the Gentoo Forums; they were made by phong.
